Accessibility

Built for everyone.

BAM-FEST is designed to WCAG 2.2 AA standards. If any part of this site is difficult to use, tell us and we will fix it.

Our commitment

Access is part of the design, not an afterthought

Every page on this site — from the exhibition schedule to the registration form — is built to be usable with a keyboard, a screen reader, or at higher zoom levels, and to respect reduced-motion settings.

What we've built in

Semantic headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate page structure directly.
Visible focus outlines on every interactive element, including nav links, buttons and form fields.
Alt text on meaningful imagery and decorative graphics marked so they're skipped by assistive tech.
Motion (hover tilt, marquee, preloader) disabled automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
Colour combinations checked for contrast against WCAG 2.2 AA thresholds.

This is a living commitment — if you hit a barrier anywhere on the site, let us know and we will fix it.
